BUNNELL, Fla. — A person is dead and three were listed in serious condition after a crash involving three cars in Flagler County on Friday night. It happened at about 7:18 p.m. on State Road 100 west of Black Point Road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A sedan, driven by a 28-year-old Bunnell man with a male passenger, was traveling westbound on SR 100 directly behind a pickup truck driven by a 72-year-old Keystone Heights man with a 79-year-old woman passenger, also from Keystone Heights.
The Bunnell man crashed into the rear of the pickup as a sedan, driven by a 34-year-old woman with a 35-year-old male passenger - both from Ormond Beach - approached Black Point Road.
The pickup truck was pushed off the roadway into the tree line and the Bunnell man’s car came to rest in the eastbound lane of SR 100 colliding with the Ormond Beach woman’s car.
The Bunnell man was listed in serious condition and the passenger in his car died, the news release states. The pair from Ormand Beach were also listed in serious condition.
The occupants of the pickup were not injured, FHP said.
