Phil joined Action News Jax in October 2014 with more than 20 years of experience in local television.
He enjoys waking up Jacksonville residents with a dynamic, fast-paced newscast.
Phil got his start in Billings, Montana in 1984 where he anchored the weekend newscast and was a reporter during the week.
He moved to Boise, Idaho a few years later and was the main anchor for KBCI-TV.
Phil has been a fixture in Jacksonville since 1994. He enjoys reporting about Jacksonville’s history. He worked on the team that launched the Historic Jacksonville Main Street Cruise and has a passion for cars.
He’s married to his beautiful wife Debra and has two children.
