Teacher raising money to purchase medical grade air purifier to help prevent spread of COVID-19

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Duval County teacher is trying to raise enough money to purchase a medical-grade air filter for his classroom.

He says the filer will clean the air every 30 minutes. He hopes it will prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“I wanted to have something in my classroom that might settle some of the kids’ nerves, some of the parents, and my nerves,” he said.
